If you visit Busan, you definitely won’t miss out Haeundae beach as one of the top tourist attractions. Not far from the beach, lies an uphill road named Dalmaji-Gil. It takes about 15 minutes to walk here.
This is a road familiar to most native Koreans and the Haeundae locals who comes here for a stroll. Along the road, its filled with cherry blossom trees. In late March, these cherry blossom blooms and the road is amazingly stunning. It has its own attractiveness since its always much quaint and quiet here. Compared to the overcrowded Jinhae cherry blossom festival spot (Jinhae is a city beside Busan) where tons of people rush to visit every year, this is a good spot to enjoy cherry blossoms more exclusively.
However, Dalmaji-gil is not one place where many tourist would venture into and especially if you visit Busan by tour operators. They won’t bring you here.
Catch the chance if you do a free and easy trip to watch a sunset upon an easy climb up the hill top of Dalmaji.
