♥♥♥♥♥ The usual Bread & Butter
They baked the baguette fresh everyday. The sliced baguettes have a lovely hard crust with fluffy and soft chewy insides. I now proclaim this restaurant serves one of my favourite bread & butter for customers in singapore.

French Restaurants love serving small variety of French cuisines and here at TaraTata Bistrot, its the same too.
They focus on what they can deliver and does it quite well.
I came in as a couple, ordered the Weekend Dinner Set which cost $78++ /pax. (Excludes still/sparkling water and other beverages)

♥♥♥ Soupe Savoyarde aux Champignons Sauvages et au Fromage
I was surprised how fresh a mushroom soup could taste and this got me awed. Its served with generous cheese melted in the soup and thats where I could taste the marvelous combination of the mushroom and cheese slurped down.

♥ Bisque de Homard
The peculiar thing I just don’t get about this soup is why its so salty and gives off a very fishy smell? And how is it a lobster bisque have bits of prawns inside? Shouldn’t they the least include tiny bits of lobster meat? It gets me rather dissapointed they should have did better in this common dish serving French Restaurants.

♥♥♥ Salade de Noix de Saint-Jacques de Bretagne à la Mangue et aux Eufs de Saumon
The Brittany scallops were so fresh and amount given was generous. It had a light and smooth taste, together with the sweet mango bits and savoury salmon roe, this is a hit!

♥♥♥♥♥ Foie Gras Poêlé sur Chutney de Banane et de Raisin Caramélisée
Keong Saik Road have some of the most fabulous restaurants serving Foie Gras in Singapore and TaraTata Bistrot is one of them. The Foie Gras is rich and creamy, paired with the banana and raisin caramel makes one can’t stop coming back for more. This is a MUST-TRY!!!

♥♥♥♥ Filet de Loup de Mer Poêlé, Fondue d’Epinard et Pommes de Terre Ecrasée, Beurre de Cresson
The sea bass fillet was very fresh, every bite of it gives off a sweet seafood flavour. The mashed potato layered underneath is a good rendition of how much a mashed potato should be leveled to. This is a pure mashed potato with no cream added and you can taste a good balance between perfectly smooth-en potato and the chunks of potato meat. However, the cream of watercress was a miss. Sadly it looks and tasted like only cream with colouring. They could have just made a watercrest reduction instead of creaming to give the full flavours of this lovely vegetable.

♥♥♥♥ Tournedos de Porc Kurobuta Grillé et Foie Gras Poêlé, Sauce au Cognac
Again, this dish is an art itself. The little miss was putting the 2 great ingredient together. The main star was supposed to be the kurobuta pork but the Foie Gras was fighting a title for itself. There wasn’t a need to put these on the same plate. The Foie Gras introduced in appetiser might appeal better due to the different chemistry of taste. This was slightly lack-lustre in terms of flavour where its the same savoury taste on the whole but nonetheless a great job done by chef. No complains for the sauce that helped compliment the juicy kurobuta pork.

♥♥♥♥ Croustade au Chocolat, Caramel au Beurre Salé et Glace au Pain d’Epices
The chocolate crisp is baked well with cripsy pastry outside and warm dense chocolate cake with lava chocolate in it. The homemade ice cream is so worth the calories. Another MUST-TRY!

♥♥♥ Coupe de Sorbets et Fruits Rouges
Sorbet served was Mango sorbet & Pear sorbet. The Mango sorbet was fruity and Pear sorbet brought a little flora note in taste. Slightly off was the berries that wasn’t fully ripe, tasted sour.

Don’t miss trying out the wines from TaraTata Bistrot. They carry a good range of French wines and I love the variety of Blanc they have compared to other restaurants that overlooked white wines usually. Side note: They ONLY offer French wines, so if you like to pair your foods with Italian wines or any others, get charged for cockage.
Had the Kir Royal $18/glass and Belle White $14/glass.

I was quite satisfied with the food generally and would not mind coming back again. The ambience of this restaurant is very comfortable and welcoming, great place for couples dining or gatherings.
*Do take note they charge Still Water or Sparkling Water at $9 refillable.
