Tasted on 04102013 morning
Yes! I’m here at the legendary shop known for its thick double boiled milk (known to many as the rival of Yee Shun Milk Company). As you can see, though I try to crop the picture smaller, there is still many ‘heads’ before me queuing to get in (not forgetting to mention people behind me too). Here at Australia Diary Co., its easier to get seats when you are 2-3 in a group. I came with my friend and managed to get seats after 10 minutes of queuing. If you come in 4s and larger groups, waiting time will be longer. It is a usual culture in Hong Kong to share tables with strangers so don’t be shock if you are allocated seats with someone you don’t even know. Just enjoy yourself and immerse in the good food. Over here, its not your typical yum cha kind of restaurant where you normally chatter and talk about shopping from yesterday or gossip with your neighbours. Expect upon sitting down, you have to order soon, eat quickly and go. No lingering as there are always workers trying to clear the place for incoming customers and giving you the eye you should leave once you are done.
Awesomely delicious scrambled eggs with toast!
Its heavenly for this French Toast that’s crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside! Masterpiece with a piece of butter and some maple syrup!
An extra order! I didn’t plan to eat much for that day’s breakfast but couldn’t resist after tasting the wonderful foods recommended above! Tasty bread spreaded with margarine and generous ingredients inside :) Sad thing is, the margarine used tasted overpowering. They should use butter instead.
Not really fancying this, thought it was just so-so compared to the standards of the others I had tried.
♥♥♥ Almond Egg Pudding 杏汁炖鸡蛋
I prefer the almond taste to be stronger but unfortunately it was so light I can barely taste it. It thickened well and luckily this was shared with a friend or else I would definitely not be able to finish this on my own after eating so much. Sharing this will be a good option if you have ate before this dessert.
