Stayed 10th – 13th July 2013
This is a boutique hotel that sits between the local market street selling food, clothing and mostly massage services. It houses 70 rooms in its hotel, all types of size to accommodate your needs. This is a good location if you want to be near the main shopping areas. Located just a street away from the Pratunam Wholesale Market (a shopping heaven for the both the ladies and men, mainly clothing), merely a 1 minute walk and its close vicinity to Platinum mall (5 minute walk), Central World Plaza (10 minute walk), Big C Supercenter (12 minute walk, just across Central World Plaza), Red Sky Pub in Centara Grand Hotel (12 minute walk, behind Central World Plaza), Gaysorn Mall (15 minute walk), Nearest BTS – Chit Lom Station (20 minute walk), Siam Paragon (30 minute walk), Siam Center (30 minute walk), BTS – Siam Station (30 minute walk), Siam Discovery Center (35 minute walk).
To check-in, you need to find the hotel lobby situated on the 2nd floor so go up the escalator at the front of 1st level. The first floor is used for operating their restaurant and massage parlour. Getting a foot massage here cost 300baht/hr and just around the area is cheaper at 250baht/hr. Your take to trust the hotel’s services or trust the individual shops (Mine is I rather do it at the hotel).
I stayed in room 409. Room’s got a big double bed, LCD television, air-conditioned, mini refrigerator, electric water kettle, hair dryer, chairs, complimentary 2 bottled water replenished everyday, clothes hangers, bath neccessaties (bath towels, face towels, floor tower, soap, shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, cotton buds, toothpaste & toothbrush set etc.), 4 bedding pillows and 2 seat pillows. Do take note for those bath-tub lovers, there are no bath-tubs for you to soak in.
Room 409 is facing the main street and we had a mini attached balcony. There’s still business going around the street even at 12am midnight so expect a little noise but its not to that extend of a disturbance. Request for other rooms earlier if you mind.
The 93 Hotel have their own designed menu for room service and prices are rather reasonable. Try it if you have had a tired day of shopping and only want to stay in room.
The staff usually don’t bother to serve much except for the doorman and another uncle helping out to carry your baggage during check in and out. They are not so friendly and look bored to the core. But I didn’t have any problem with that as I’m out of the hotel most of the time.
Cleanliness is pretty alright. House keeping made the bed everyday, room tidied and with bottles of water and toiletries replenished.

If you arrive from the airports (I touchdown at Don Mueang Airport) and am carrying luggages, I recommend you take a cab to the hotel. Navigating your way through the airport to the express bus then transferring to the BTS (Bangkok’s train station) and finding your way further, continue walking for another 20-30mins is not an easy task.
Taking a cab to/fro airport and hotel cost about 350baht per trip. 1 regular taxi can sit me and my travel companions, a total of 4 people, with 3 check-in size luggages and 2 hand carried bags).
